Congressman LaMalfa announces 2024 Congressional Art Competition winner
Today, Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) announced the winner of the Spring 2024 Congressional Art Competition. The victory was claimed by Las Plumas High School Senior Kayla Grozea for her piece, “Soaring Above Lake Oroville Dam”. The annual Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students in the 1st District and this year’s theme was “Dams & Lakes for Goodness Sakes - Storing water for flood & food”.
Congressman LaMalfa Stands Against Surveillance Measures Without Warrant Requirements
(Washington, D.C.) – Today, Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) voted to require the federal government to obtain a warrant to review any records of Americans that are collected or for sale by third parties. The amendment failed after a tie vote of 212-212.
